Install guide

Create a free account, add your domain on the Sites page, and copy your snippet. It looks like this:

Plain HTML

Paste the snippet just before </head> on every page (or in your shared header include).

WordPress

Appearance → Theme file editor → header.php before </head>, or use a “header and footer scripts” plugin.

Shopify

Online Store → Themes → Edit code → layout/theme.liquid, before </head>.

Webflow / Squarespace / Wix

Site settings → Custom code → Head code.

Next.js / React / Vue

Add the tag once in your root layout or index.html. Route changes are tracked automatically.

Campaign links

Add utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign to links, e.g. ?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=october.

Do Not Track

Keep data-dnt="true" so visitors with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control are not counted.

Content-Security-Policy

If your site has a CSP, allow https://quietstats.co.uk in script-src and connect-src.

Not seeing data?

Open the Sites page: it shows “Receiving data” once the first pageview arrives. Check that the domain you registered matches the page’s domain (subdomains are included), that an ad blocker is not blocking the script while you test, and that your browser does not have Do Not Track switched on. Visits from localhost are ignored.
