Revenue from Stripe Payment Links
See which sources bring paying customers when you sell with Stripe Payment Links. Optional, cookie-free, totals only. Stripe test mode only for now: live payments are refused until live mode is switched on.
1. Add the module
Next to your normal quietstats tag, on pages with buy.stripe.com links (it sends no pageviews of its own):
<script data-host="https://quietstats.co.uk" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" src="https://quietstats.co.uk/js/revenue.js" async defer></script>On page load it asks quietstats where this visit came from and adds a short label (channel, source and landing page, such as AI · chatgpt.com · /pricing) to each Payment Link as Stripe’s client_reference_id. No visitor ID, cookie or storage is involved.
2. Add the webhook in Stripe
In Stripe → Developers → Webhooks, add your site’s endpoint (shown on your site’s Manage page under “Revenue by source”):
https://quietstats.co.uk/api/revenue/stripe/YOUR_SITE_IDChoose the events checkout.session.completed and checkout.session.async_payment_succeeded. Copy the signing secret (whsec_…) into the Manage page. It is stored encrypted and never shown again.
What quietstats reads from Stripe
Only the amount, the currency, the time and the label. Not the customer, email, address, card or payment ID. Each webhook is verified with your site’s signing secret, and a repeated webhook is counted once.
Other checkouts
Paddle, Lemon Squeezy or your own: send totals with the conversions API, optionally with the same label.
