Page speed from real visitors
How fast your pages feel to real visitors: loading (LCP), responsiveness (INP), layout shift (CLS) and server response (TTFB).

What it does
An optional speed module. The Page speed card shows the 75th percentile of each measure, the share of good visits, mobile against desktop, and the pages with the most poor scores.
Why it matters
Lab tests run on one fast machine. Real visitors on real phones are the ones who leave when a page is slow.
How to use it
- Add the speed module next to your tag: <script data-host="…" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" data-sample="1" src="…/js/vitals.js" async defer></script>.
- data-sample sets how many page views are measured (1 = all; lower it on busy sites).
- Find Page speed (real visitors) on your dashboard after some visits.
<script data-host="https://quietstats.co.uk" data-dnt="true" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" data-sample="1" src="https://quietstats.co.uk/js/vitals.js" async defer></script>Replace YOUR_SITE_ID with the ID shown on your site’s Manage page.
How it works
Privacy
- Only daily counts per measure bucket are stored: no visitor code, IP address, user agent or single measurement.
- No cookies or device storage.
- No cookies, and nothing stored on the visitor’s device.
- Reports show totals only: never a visitor list, IP address or single visit.
Plans
Every plan, including Free. quietstats is free during launch: the Free plan covers 1 site and 5,000 pageviews a month, and no card is needed. See pricing.
Questions
Why the 75th percentile?
It is the measure Google uses for Core Web Vitals: 3 in 4 visits were faster than the number shown.
Does it slow my site?
It is separate from the core script, loads async, and sends one small message when the visitor leaves.
