20 tracking tools on the roadmap

Roadmap: what we’re building next

The new tracking tools we’re working on, and exactly where each one stands. This page is built from our own build board, so a badge changes the moment a tool’s status does.

What the badges mean

How a tool moves from Coming soon to In development to Live13Coming soon1In development6Live

We don’t give ship dates, and priorities can change. Every tool keeps the same rules as today: no cookies, totals only, nothing about individual visitors, and the core script stays 845 bytes. Anything that needs extra measuring comes as an optional add-on you switch on.

See which AI and search crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Googlebot and others) read your pages, and how often.

Why it matters: Shows whether AI assistants can see your content before they ever send you a visitor.

Privacy: Counts crawler requests by bot name and page only. Crawlers are not people, and no human visits are involved.

Search keywords from Google Search Console

Coming soon

Connect Search Console to see the search terms that bring people to each page, next to your quietstats numbers.

Why it matters: The one thing cookie-free tools cannot see on their own: what people typed into Google.

Privacy: Google already reports these as totals. We store daily totals per page and term only.

Behaviour on the page

Find buttons and links people click again and again in frustration, or click when nothing happens.

Why it matters: Points straight at broken or confusing parts of a page.

Privacy: Counted per page and element label, once per page view. No mouse paths, no recordings, no session replay.

How to use it →

For each form: how many people started it, how many sent it, and the field where most people gave up.

Why it matters: Shows exactly where sign-up and contact forms lose people.

Privacy: Never reads what anyone types. Only the form name and field name are counted.

How to use it →

Video plays and progress

Coming soon

How many people press play on your videos and how many reach 25%, 50%, 75% and the end.

Why it matters: Tells you whether the videos you paid for actually get watched.

Privacy: Counted per video and milestone. No viewing history per person.

Copy and share counts

Coming soon

How often people copy text or code from a page, or press a share button.

Why it matters: Shows which content people find worth keeping or passing on.

Privacy: We never read what was copied, only that a copy happened on that page.

Reports and insights

A simple A to F grade for every landing page, from bounce rate, engaged time, scroll depth and goal rate.

Why it matters: Tells you which pages to fix first without reading five reports.

Privacy: Built from the totals you already have. Nothing new is tracked.

How to use it →

Suspicious traffic report

Coming soon

Flags bursts of likely fake traffic, such as one source or country with every visit bouncing in seconds, and lets you exclude it.

Why it matters: Keeps your numbers honest when spam or bots slip through.

Privacy: Uses totals by source, country and day. Nothing about a single visitor.

Trending now

Coming soon

Pages and sources getting far more visits in the last hour than they normally do, right on the Live view.

Why it matters: Spot a post going viral while it is still happening.

Privacy: Compares hourly totals with your usual pattern. No visitor-level data.

Visit depth

Coming soon

How many visits see 1 page, 2 pages, 3 to 5 pages or more, as a simple chart.

Why it matters: A clearer picture of engagement than one average number.

Privacy: Built from the visit totals you already have. Nothing new is tracked.

Conversions, campaigns and revenue

Add what each campaign cost (by hand or CSV) and see cost per visitor, cost per goal and return on ad spend.

Why it matters: Answers "was that ad worth it?" in pounds.

Privacy: Spend is your own business data. Matching is by UTM campaign totals only.

How to use it →

Pages that help conversions

Coming soon

For each goal, the pages people most often read earlier in the same visit before they converted.

Why it matters: Shows which content does the selling, not just which page gets the last click.

Privacy: Worked out from same-day visit totals. No visitor paths are stored or shown.

QR codes for posters and print

Coming soon

Make a QR code for a flyer, poster or menu and see how many visits each one brings.

Why it matters: Puts offline marketing on the same chart as everything else.

Privacy: The QR code is just a tagged link. Scans are counted as normal visits.

Shop orders by source (WooCommerce and Shopify)

Coming soon

Connect WooCommerce or Shopify to see orders and revenue by traffic source, alongside Stripe.

Why it matters: Shows which channels make money for online shops.

Privacy: Only order totals by source and day. No customer names, emails or addresses.

Collection and setup

Send pageviews and events from your server or app backend, for pages without JavaScript, APIs and background jobs.

Why it matters: Counts what a browser script cannot see, and works where scripts are blocked.

Privacy: Same rules as the script: personal data in names or properties is rejected and no IP address is stored.

How to use it →

Several domains as one site

Coming soon

Count a shop, blog and help centre on different domains as one site, with a breakdown by domain.

Why it matters: One true total when your business lives on more than one domain.

Privacy: No link decoration and no cookies. Each domain is counted the same cookie-free way.

Site health and speed

Uptime checks for your sites

In development

We check your homepage every few minutes and show uptime, response time and any downtime on your traffic chart.

Why it matters: Explains sudden traffic drops and tells you when your site is down.

Privacy: We only request your public homepage. No visitor data is involved.

Page speed budgets

Coming soon

Set a speed target for a page or section and get an alert when real visitors start seeing slower loads.

Why it matters: Catches slow releases before they cost you visitors.

Privacy: Uses the existing page-speed totals. No single visit is stored.

Audience and content

Display preferences

Coming soon

The share of visitors who prefer dark mode, reduced motion or data saving.

Why it matters: Helps you design for how people actually browse.

Privacy: Stored only as totals per preference. Never combined into a profile, so it cannot fingerprint anyone.

Author and category reports

Coming soon

Read author, category or tag from your page's meta tags and see traffic and engagement for each.

Why it matters: Shows which writers and topics bring readers, not just which URLs.

Privacy: Uses labels from your own pages. Nothing about visitors.
