Stats API
A read-only REST API with Bearer keys: aggregates with comparison, timeseries, breakdowns, realtime and the new reports.

What it does
JSON or CSV from /api/v1 with filters, pagination and an OpenAPI spec, for scripts, Google Sheets, Looker Studio or your own dashboards.
Why it matters
Put your numbers wherever your team already looks.
How to use it
- Open Settings → API keys and create a read key (optionally for one site). Copy it: it is shown once.
- Call the API with Authorization: Bearer qs_… (see the example below).
- Read the full reference on the API page.
Shell
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer qs_…" "https://quietstats.co.uk/api/v1/aggregate?site=YOUR_SITE_ID&period=30d&compare=year"Replace YOUR_SITE_ID with the ID shown on your site’s Manage page.
How it works
- Create a key in Settings (up to 10 active keys).
- Call /api/v1/aggregate, timeseries, breakdown, realtime, pathways, matrix, landing, groups, search_terms or engagement.
- Add filters and compare options; get JSON or CSV.
Privacy
- Collected: Nothing new
- No cookies, and nothing stored on the visitor’s device.
- Reports show totals only: never a visitor list, IP address or single visit.
Limits
- Requests per hour per key: Free 300, Starter 2,000, Growth 6,000, Business 20,000
- Up to 1,000 rows per page
- Rows: 0 (reads only)
