Don’t count your own visits
Stop your own visits from counting on a site, still without a cookie and without changing the script.

What it does
A switch on each site’s Manage page. While it’s on, your visits from the browser you use for quietstats aren’t counted.
Why it matters
On a small site, your own checking can be a big share of the numbers.
How to use it
- Open Sites → ⚙ Manage for the site.
- In Your own visits, press Don’t count my visits.
- Open your quietstats dashboard once a day before browsing your site: that is when quietstats learns today’s code for your browser.
How it works
Privacy
- Nothing is stored on your device and nothing is added to your site.
- quietstats keeps today’s visitor code for your browser and network until the next UTC midnight, then forgets it.
- No cookies, and nothing stored on the visitor’s device.
- Reports show totals only: never a visitor list, IP address or single visit.
Plans
Every plan, including Free. quietstats is free during launch: the Free plan covers 1 site and 5,000 pageviews a month, and no card is needed. See pricing.
Questions
Why did a visit of mine still count?
Visits made before your first dashboard visit of the day still count, because quietstats only learns the day’s code when you open the dashboard. Someone with the identical browser on the same network shares that code, so their visits would be skipped too.
Does it work with the own-domain script?
Yes. The collector uses the same daily code either way.
