A real quietstats screen, taken with a throwaway test account that was deleted afterwards.
What it does
An Alerts inbox per account. Spikes come with the top source and the page most people landed on. Rules watch visitors, pageviews, bounce rate or AI visitors.
Why it matters
You shouldn’t have to open the dashboard every day to notice something changed.
How to use it
Open Alerts in the top menu.
Under Settings per site, set the minimum visitors and switch spike and drop alerts on or off.
Add a rule: a metric, then above, below or down by %, over yesterday or the last 7 days.
Press Check now to run the check straight away.
How it works
Rules: a metric, then above, below or down by %, over yesterday or the last 7 days.
“Down by %” compares yesterday with the same weekday a week before, or the last 7 days with the 7 before.
Checked daily; a rule fires at most once a day (or once a week for 7-day rules).
From the alerts and anomaly code. Alert emails are not switched on.
Privacy
Collected: Nothing new
No cookies, and nothing stored on the visitor’s device.
Reports show totals only: never a visitor list, IP address or single visit.
Limits
Up to 10 rules per site
In the app inbox today; email or Slack delivery is on the roadmap
Rows: 1 when an alert fires; 0 per pageview
Plans
Every plan, including Free. quietstats is free during launch: the Free plan covers 1 site and 5,000 pageviews a month, and no card is needed. See pricing.
Questions
Do alerts email me?
Not yet. They land in your Alerts inbox. Email and Slack are on the roadmap.
