Pages that help conversions
For each goal, the pages people read earlier in the same visit before they converted, so you can see which content does the selling.
In every plan, including Free. Goals, events and conversions.

What it is
A card under Goals: pick a goal and see the pages read before it in converting visits, what share of conversions read each one, and how often visits that include the page convert compared with your average visit.
Why it matters
Last-click reports credit the checkout or contact page. The pages that persuade people, like a guide, a menu or an about page, get no credit, so they are easy to cut or neglect.
How it works
- Set up a goal (a page, an event or a click).
- For each visit that reached the goal, quietstats takes the pages read earlier in that same visit (visits split after 30 minutes of quiet, within one day).
- It counts those visits per page and compares how often visits that include the page convert with your average visit.
- A page goal never credits itself; for event and click goals the page the event happened on counts.
Set it up
Nothing to set up: it works with the standard one-line script.
<script data-host="https://quietstats.co.uk" data-dnt="true" src="https://quietstats.co.uk/js/script.js" id="YOUR_SITE_ID" async defer></script>Privacy: what is and isn’t collected
Collected
- Nothing new: worked out when you open the dashboard from the pageviews and goal matches you already have
- No visitor path is stored or shown, only totals per page
Never collected
- Cookies, localStorage or anything else stored on the visitor’s device
- IP addresses or user agents (used in memory, then discarded)
- Anything that links a visitor across days (the visitor ID resets daily)
Rows and limits
- One goal at a time (the one with most conversions first); top 12 pages
- “vs avg.” needs 10+ visits that include the page
- Shows association, not proof that a page caused a conversion
- Rows: 0 writes; 1 read over the range’s pageviews and goal matches
“Rows” are database rows written, which is what our hosting is billed on. Reads are not rows written. Methodology →
Questions
How is this different from landing page scorecards?
Scorecards grade the first page of a visit. This looks at every page read before the goal, including ones in the middle of a visit.
Does a visit count twice if the person reads a page twice?
No. Each converting visit counts once per page.
What if someone converts in a later visit?
Only pages in the visit where they converted count, so pages from an earlier visit get no credit.
