CSV and Excel downloads: example screenshot with made-up demo data
ExampleScreenshot with made-up demo data, not a real customer’s numbers.

What it is

A download menu on every table: pages, sources, countries, devices, campaigns, goals and the new reports.

Why it matters

Reports for clients, bosses and spreadsheets shouldn’t start with copy and paste.

How it works

  1. Open the download menu on a card and pick CSV or Excel.
  2. The file uses the same range, comparison and segment as the screen.
  3. Cells that start with =, +, - or @ are made safe so spreadsheets don’t run them as formulas.

Set it up

Nothing to set up: it works with the standard one-line script.

HTML
<script data-host="https://quietstats.co.uk" data-dnt="true" src="https://quietstats.co.uk/js/script.js" id="YOUR_SITE_ID" async defer></script>

Privacy: what is and isn’t collected

Collected

  • Nothing new

Never collected

  • Cookies, localStorage or anything else stored on the visitor’s device
  • IP addresses or user agents (used in memory, then discarded)
  • Anything that links a visitor across days (the visitor ID resets daily)

Rows and limits

  • Up to 10,000 rows per download
  • Your own sites only; public stats pages have no downloads
  • Rows: 0 (reads only)

“Rows” are database rows written, which is what our hosting is billed on. Reads are not rows written. Methodology →

How others do it

How the tools on our compare page handle this, from their own websites and help pages, checked on 21 October 2026. “Not stated” means we could not find it on the pages we checked, not that it doesn’t exist. Plans and prices change, so follow the source links. GA4, Plausible, Fathom, Simple Analytics, Umami, GoatCounter, Matomo all offer this too.
