Optional public stats page: example screenshot with made-up demo data
ExampleScreenshot with made-up demo data, not a real customer’s numbers.

What it is

A public link to a read-only version of your dashboard. Off by default, and you can switch it off any time.

Why it matters

Open startups, community projects and clients can see the numbers without an account.

How it works

  1. Turn it on in the site’s settings to get a link.
  2. Visitors see the dashboard but can’t change anything, download tables or see other sites.
  3. Turn it off and the link stops working.

Set it up

Nothing to set up: it works with the standard one-line script.

HTML
<script data-host="https://quietstats.co.uk" data-dnt="true" src="https://quietstats.co.uk/js/script.js" id="YOUR_SITE_ID" async defer></script>

Privacy: what is and isn’t collected

Collected

  • Nothing new

Never collected

  • Cookies, localStorage or anything else stored on the visitor’s device
  • IP addresses or user agents (used in memory, then discarded)
  • Anything that links a visitor across days (the visitor ID resets daily)

Rows and limits

  • Off by default
  • Rows: 1 to switch on or off

“Rows” are database rows written, which is what our hosting is billed on. Reads are not rows written. Methodology →

How others do it

How the tools on our compare page handle this, from their own websites and help pages, checked on 21 October 2026. “Not stated” means we could not find it on the pages we checked, not that it doesn’t exist. Plans and prices change, so follow the source links. Plausible, Fathom, Simple Analytics, Umami all offer this too.
